Content of the Exchange Program

This education program is aimed at enhancing the education of urban and architectural environment by developing knowledge and skill to achieve sustainable cities and buildings in Asia. The program is expected to support short and medium term student exchange and the establishment of the double degree program.
교육 프로그램의 목표는 아시아에서 지속 가능한 도시와 건축의 건설을 위한 도시와 건축 환경교육을 수립하고 실행하는 것이다 따라서 프로그램에는 아 래와 같은 커리쿨럼과 􏰁단기 교환학생 프로그램과 복수전공 프로그램의 지원 등을 포함하고 있다.

a) The curriculum of the proposed graduate degree program constitutes four groups of subjects to develop skills, gain knowledge and to practice skills.
대학원학위과정커리큘럼은기술개발 지식획득 및 실무를 포함하여 크게 4개의 과목군으로 구성된다
i) The core program: The core program is an education program conducted with the participation of international experts through IASUR (International Alliance for Sustainable Urbanization and Regeneration) with the aimed of sharing their experience with students. Theory of Sustainable Architecture and Urbanism (compulsory, 2 credits) is a class on sustainable principles of building environments and cities. Theory of Habitat Design and Analysis (compulsory, 2 credits) is an interdisciplinary lecture series to deliver a broader understanding of Habitat engineering.
핵심프로그램 : 핵심프로그램은 학생들과 전문가의 경험을 공유하기위하여 지속가능한 도시화와 재생을 위한 국제연맹(International Alliance for Sustainable Urbanization and Regeneration 이하 IASHR)을 통한 세계적 전문가의 참여로 실시된다 지속가능한 건축과 도시화(Theory of Sustainable Architecture and Urbanism/compulsory, 2 credits)􏰃는 건물/도시환경의 지속가능한 원칙에 관한 교과목이며 Habitat Design의 설계와 분석(Theory of Habitat Design and Analysis/compulsory, 2 credits)􏰃은 학제간 연계강의 시리즈􏰁의 하나로서 habitat engineering에 대한 폭넓은 이해를 제공한다.
ii) Practical subjects: Sustainable Design Camp (compulsory, 4 credits): A studio-type design exercise for groups consist with Japanese and overseas students to learn designing sustainable urban areas and architecture.
실용 과목 : 지속가능한 디자인캠프(Sustainable Design Camp/compulsory, 4 credits)은 한국과 일본 및 중􏰁국의 학부생 및. 대학원생들로 구성된 그룹별 스튜디오 형식의 설계실습 과정으로서 지속가능한 도시 및 건축 설계 방법을 학습하게 된다.
iii) Internship program: International Practice (elective, 5credits), This internship program provides students an opportunity to complete their internship in internationally recognized architectural or urban planning practices.
인턴십 프로그램 : 인턴십 프로그램은 국제적인 인턴십 교과목으로서 이를 통해서 학생들은 세계적으로 인정받는 건축 혹은 도시계획과정의 실무에 참여할 수 있는 기회를 얻는다.
iv) Subjects in the field of specialization: Each University will organize and conduct subjects related to field specialization to be compatible with issues of built environment in each country.
전문분야과목 : 각 대학은 각국가의 건조환경 문제에 대응하는 전문분야에 관계된 과목을 구성하고 운영한다.

b) The degree: The program is a quality assured double degree program. The Environment Education Committee (EEAC) formed inside IASUR will guide the evaluation of double degree program, to ensure the required standard in education.
학위 : 내부의 조직인 환경 교육 위원회(Environment Education Committee, EEAC)의 주도하에 복수학위과정 프로그램을 평가하고 효율적인 교육의 필수조건을 분명하게 반영함으로써 국제적 복수학위 프로그 램으로서 본 프로그램의 질적 수준을 확보하고 운용한다.

Framework for credit transfer, grading, degree conferral

a) Mutual recognition of credits: Number of credit hours per course and the time allocation for a lecture varies among universities. Therefore, a mutually accepted system of credit hours is a prerequisite to establishing new double degree program. Initially, the subjects of the program need to be included in the syllabus of each university.
학점 상호 인정 : 대학에 따라서 교과목의 강의시간과 학􏰃의 구성이 다소 상이할 수 있으므로 먼저 신규 복수학위과정의 개설을 위하여 이수학􏰃과 시간에 대한 상호이해의과 정이 요구된다 따라서 프로그램의 초기단계에는 각 대학 교과과정에 본 프로그램의 교과목을 포함하고 이를 설명할 필요가 있다
b) Coordination of completion: Education Steering Committee will regularly inform the credits and course completion conditions to the academic affairs office in the partner university. This coordination is important to full fill the completion requirements of each university because of different academic calendars in use.
이수과정의 협조 : 교육과정운영위원회는 본 프로그램의 교과목별 학􏰃과 과정의 이수조건 등에 관해 각 대학의 학사관리팀에 정기적으로 공지하여야 한다. 또한 대학별로 학사일정표상의 과정이 일치하지 않는 부분들이 있으 므로 각 대학은 학생들의 이수완료 조건을 충족할 수 있도록 사전에 충분하게 검토한다
c) Double Degree: Double degree will be awarded after the completion of portfolio, master's thesis, and the completion of required credits hours from other prescribed subjects.
복수학위과정 : 본 프로그램에서 제시한 이수완료 조건에 따라서 포트폴리오 작성과 석사논문 완성 그리고 규정된 과목의 이수 등의 조건을 충족하는 경우에 복수학위를 수여한다.
